Band information:

The Raised in a Barn Band was formed to cover recent country artists, as well as to work on original songs. We also love our classic rock, and are happy to play classic country too, as desired by the event planners. We take great care to present a professional appearance to go with our top-notch sound, and are dedicated to providing a fun, family friendly show for any event.

Scott Peterson

Scott has great lead vocals and also plays a beautiful acoustic guitar. He covers songs by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw and many other iconic country stars. His vocal harmonies add depth and brilliance to all of our songs, and he is excited to play our wide array of fun upbeat songs for you.

Jordan Cole

Jordan has been playing with live bands his entire life. He is a very accomplished lead guitar player, stage performer, and all around comedian. Jordan always has a quick joke or witty comment, and keeps the party going all night. Yes, that is a Bugs Bunny bolo tie his is wearing…

Jordan is also a very capable vocalist, lending his harmonies to our songs, as well as singing lead.

Jordan also gives private lessons on most stringed instruments, and is a professional audio engineer, mixer, and session performer as well. He is responsible for our recordings, as well as lending his skills to our live mix for events.

Jenny Long

Jenny has been singing since childhood, but decided to get serious about it in the early 1990s. She studied voice at the Northwest Institute of Voice under the instruction of Thomas Blaylock and went on to teach the Blaylock Systematized Method to students of her own. She loves (and has sung) a wide variety of music styles, but modern country is her favorite. Jenny lives in north Idaho with her husband of 22 years and their two youngest kids.

Brent plays the electric bass guitar and banjo, and is also the band leader, scheduler and main driving force behind the Raised in a Barn band. He is an Medical Lake grad,. Electrical Engineer (Gonzaga U), husband, and father of two children. He’s thrilled to be able to present you with one of the best bands in the area, is excited to talk to you about your events, and will make sure that every detail is covered.
